OUR JOURNEY
Established in 2025, United Colors of Dance is a dynamic presence in the dance performance space, celebrating the cultural significance of partner dance and its impact on individuals, communities, and cultures. As professional ballroom dancers, we are dedicated to showcasing our craft in artistic venues, inspiring connection through the universal language of movement, and making partner dance accessible to all ages, starting with our youth by meeting them where they are in schools.
We recently launched a pilot program of Salsa dancing with United Colors of Dance and have been very impressed! Rebecca is knowledgeable, informed, and fun! She connected with the students and they are loving the program. I look forward to more partnerships in the future.

United Colors of Dance at Urban
Partnering with the staff and leadership at Urban Community School has been a fantastic opportunity to bring our mission into the secondary education space.
Check out our Managing Director, Rebecca Sweet, as she connects with students in our Latin dance program. Getting to know the kids includes sharing their personal relationship to dance and growing passion for Latin music and movement.
Impactful Partnerships
We are officially in our second school starting April 16 at Urban Community School in Cleveland. We will also teach at their summer program with other top Cleveland Artists! We are excited to start this new partnership!
Community Outreach
The Assembly Room and The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame have partnered with Latin-focused businesses and organizations, including United Colors of Dance, to present a vibrant celebration of Hispanic and Afro-Latin Heritage. This dynamic day features a high-energy Salsa competition, interactive music and theatre workshops, and concludes with a festive social dance party open to all on Sunday, July 19, 2026 at The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
